Welcome, and thank you for visiting Minitonas First Baptist online. We are an ever growing group of believers in the small town of Minitonas, MB. We believe that God's word is true and perfect. As followers of Jesus Christ are always looking for new ways to reach our community and share God's love. Come and join us in worship next Sunday morning!

 

Sometimes Christianity may seem so complex, but in reality it is quite simple! As Christians, we believe God is perfect and holy, we also believe that everyone is sinful and has sinned since the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. (Romans 3:23, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.) Because of this, we are separated from God, but there is good news! God sent his Son Jesus Christ; a perfect and holy sacrifice to save us all. (John 3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.) All we have to do is believe in Him. (1st John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.) We believe that forgiveness and salvation from our sins can only be found through Jesus Christ, (John 14:6, Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Acts 4:12, Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.) We believe once you are saved, the Holy Spirit lives inside of you. Jesus puts a love and peace in your heart to serve Him, and follow God's Word that you never knew before!

 

We believe that baptism is a public declaration of your faith and commitment to follow Jesus Christ, (Matthew 28:19 "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit)
